Draft 0.1 · October 2026

Draft, not yet in force. Under review before publication.

This policy explains how Kassa Partnership ("Kassa", "we") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use kassatranslation.com, our LINE Official Account and our translation and legalization services. It is written to meet the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) of Thailand.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Kassa Partnership, [registration number], [registered address], Thailand. Contact: [email] · LINE [@kassa] · [phone].

2. What we collect

  • Identity and contact: name, email, phone, LINE ID, postal address for returning documents.
  • Your documents: photos and scans of the documents you ask us to translate or legalize, and the originals you send us. These may include a passport, ID card, birth, marriage or single status certificate, house registration, education records, a police clearance certificate, company documents or court documents.
  • Power of Attorney and signatures: the POA you sign and the signed copy of your ID card or passport.
  • Order details: documents chosen, questionnaire answers (destination country, purpose, dates), order status and history.
  • Payment: amount paid, payment slip and transfer reference. We do not store card numbers.
  • Website and device: a visitor ID cookie (only if you accept cookies), pages visited and the site that referred you.

Some documents contain sensitive data under the Act, for example criminal records in a police clearance certificate, or religion and blood group shown on some identity documents. We process sensitive data only with your explicit consent (see our Consent Form) and only to provide the service.

4. Who we share it with

  • The Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and any embassy or office the legalization requires.
  • Couriers and postal services that carry your documents.
  • Translators and staff who work on your order, under confidentiality duties.
  • Service providers that host our website, database and files, send messages, or run our translation software. They act only on our instructions.
  • Partner firms, when you ordered through a law firm or agency: they receive the status of your order.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

We never sell personal data.

5. Transfers outside Thailand

Some of our service providers store or process data on servers outside Thailand (for example cloud hosting and translation software). We transfer data only where the destination has adequate protection, or with safeguards required by the Act, or with your consent.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order records, scans and copies for 10 years from the date the order is completed, to answer questions about the legalized documents and to deal with legal claims. Accounting records are kept as tax law requires. Originals are returned to you; we do not keep them. Marketing data is deleted when you withdraw consent.

7. How we protect it

Scans are stored in private storage that only staff working on your order can open. Access is logged. Order numbers alone never show your personal details on our public tracking page.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to: give you access to or a copy of your data; correct it; delete or anonymise it; restrict or object to its use; transfer it to you or another controller; and withdraw any consent you gave. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before. Some data we must keep by law. Contact us at [email]. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee.

9. Cookies

We set one visitor ID cookie only after you click Accept. It links your visit to your order. You can decline it and still use the site.

10. Changes

We will post changes on this page with a new date. Important changes will be announced on the site or by LINE.
